Product description

Urinalysis Reagent Strips are made for professional home testing of Leukocytes, Nitrite, Urobilinogen, Protein, pH, Blood, Specific Gravity Ketone , Bilirubin and Glucose in urine. The results on the strips can be read visually. Please seek help from a medical professional for help interpreting the results. The strip covers the universal standard 10 parameters:- Leukocytes Nitrite Urobilinogen Protein pH Blood Specific Gravity Ketone Bilirubin Glucose Directions: 1. Take out a single test strip and replace cap immediately. 2. Expose the test pad to urine for an instant. 3. Shake off any excess. 3. Compare each reagent area to the colour chart on the bottle or this leaflet and read at the times specified. All parameters should be read within 60 seconds except leukocytes which should be read at 120 seconds. Interpreting the results: Please seek help from a medical professional for help interpreting the results. Check for possible Urinary Tract Infection through Leukocytes and Nitrite Test. Leukocytes indicate white blood cells in the urine, while Nitrite screens possible asymptomatic infections caused by nitrate-reducing bacteria. A positive Leukocytes and Nitrite test suggests a possible UTI. The Urobilinogen and Bilirubin tests are most commonly used to screen liver diseases. The presence of excreted Urobilinogen and Bilirubin suggests a possible deterioration of liver functions and an early indication of possible liver disease. Ideal result for Urobilinogen is less than 17 µmol/l (< 1mg/dl) and Bilirubin should be negative.
