Needed a brand new TV, as our beloved Panasonic gave up after 14 years. So many to choose from but ended up going for this LG based on the reviews. Very pleased we did, as it's ace. Considering it is 49in, it's very light and very thin - making it easy to position.Set up is very simple and intuitive, with on-screen prompts to guide you throughout - took about 15 mins to get up and running from unboxing.Picture quality is excellent once you find the right setting for your room - we went with dynamic - and the HDR quality is remarkable at this price. We watched some HDR videos on the built in YouTube app and they looked stunning. At this price the blacks aren't quite as deep as they could be, but wasn't really a problem. The remote is just the standard one, not the 'magic' remote with voice control, but once you get to grips with it and learn some shortcuts it's fine.Sound is the only thing that's a little poor, as with most TVs like this, but a soundbar connected up will sort that out no problem. All in all, a cracking purchase and very happy.
