poor quality build and flimsy screen. As you can see shattered screen TV was knocked setting up only lightly but screen shattered straight away. The protective plastic that sits Infront of the screen is useless and flimsy as it didn't protect the screen at all. I'm very disappointed and now £338 worse off and no TV. Do not buy this TV it is a bigger TV yes but not worth the money. I have read alot of similar review about this TV since purchase just wish I'd known before buying .

So far so good, only had for a couple of days, but picture quality, features and usability all excellent.

Bought as gift no complaints.

Arrived with a cracked screen. Unable to use and see the normal quality of LG tv. Very disappointing

Hello, Earlier today I submitted a feedback regarding my new LG Smart TV. When I wrote the earlier message I stated having no luck connecting the LG to the internet. Well, since the last input I decided to do what I should have done and unhooked all the power to the PC and the LG and wait 10 mins which I did. AFter doing that everything set up and is hunky dory just fine. Tks to the gentleman that just called to have a chat with me as well good cust. svcs.Mr. Young only gave 4 stars for tv but will look for an additional remote control. tks

It was smashed when I received it so I returned it and went to Argos and got the same telly at the same price! Brilliant telly!

Can't comment on the smart features , picture quality , remote control as tv was delivered very badly damaged so i went else where for another ...

Needed a brand new TV, as our beloved Panasonic gave up after 14 years. So many to choose from but ended up going for this LG based on the reviews. Very pleased we did, as it's ace. Considering it is 49in, it's very light and very thin - making it easy to position.Set up is very simple and intuitive, with on-screen prompts to guide you throughout - took about 15 mins to get up and running from unboxing.Picture quality is excellent once you find the right setting for your room - we went with dynamic - and the HDR quality is remarkable at this price. We watched some HDR videos on the built in YouTube app and they looked stunning. At this price the blacks aren't quite as deep as they could be, but wasn't really a problem.The remote is just the standard one, not the 'magic' remote with voice control, but once you get to grips with it and learn some shortcuts it's fine.Sound is the only thing that's a little poor, as with most TVs like this, but a soundbar connected up will sort that out no problem.All in all, a cracking purchase and very happy.
