.The poles can be halved in size with it's easy twist detach mechanism. These can only be used on grass surfaces as the spike needs to go into the ground so that's the pole is standing and secured. Height 5 ft Tall 3 " Steel Spike Set of 3 Ideal for all track and field sports like rugby, hockey and football.

    Due to the wet weather and recent disruptions I’ve only just opened this product. I like the poles but of the three purchased in a pack, one was broken (I.e. the toggle that keeps the upper and lower poles together was broken/snapped).

    Even better than expected.The poles are excellent, easy to transport as they are in two haves and screw together superbly. Better than expected as the two have a slightly stretchy joining cord to keep each half with its other half.Nice luminous yellow too, which is hard to miss.
