If you change colour from black to silver when purchasing you get a completely different product! Doesn’t even have an option to weigh in stone! What a waste of time. No idea if product any good as this is UK and we don’t weigh ourselves in pounds or kilos

Hi, I previously gave it 1 star as it came up with wrong readings. However, once it is used a few times, it\'s accurate, each time you have to step on the scale, then off and wait for the C letter to appear (this is when it resets) and then step on again and it\'s quite accurate. Took me a while to work it out as the instructions do not mention it. Additionally,the ground must be a hard floor.

I tried testing it with 4.1 kg and it doesn\'t like weighing light weights, but when I pressed on the 4.1kg and removed the press, the last weight it showed before the display shut down was 4.1 kg. I weighed myself and then lifted the 4.1kg and my weight went up by 4.1kg. It also does not seem particularly sensitive to how you stand on it, which was a problem with my previous scale (my previous scales weighed me as 2.8kg lighter than these scales) - but I believe these scales.

I have only used these new scales about 3 times. They seem well made with a clear backlit display. No problems except for converting lbs to stones/lbs we have to divide the lbs by 14. But who uses stones in weight now anyway. I am pleased with the scales & they seem accurate.

This item arrived next day following a Sunday order. It was packed in a rugged cardboard box. It is an elegant, slim-line design, with a stainless steel top and a 40mm display panel. I mounted it on a sheet of 18mm ply to provide a rigid base as recommended in the instructions. The scales are activated by pulling a plastic strip from the battery box. The user must firstly step on and then off the scales and observe that the display reads zero. The user than steps onto the weighing panel and awaits a stable reading. The display is easily read and retained for 10 seconds. I cannot comment on the accuracy but so far I have been very impressed.

After I had noticed some problems with the scales, the seller (Etekcity) contacted me to apologise and suggest that I might need to re-calibrate the scales. They also offered a full refund, too. Having followed the instructions provided, and having found a very solid surface (a concreted floor perhaps) to position it on it does work okay and the scales seem to work quite well. More impressive, is the customer service offered by Etekcity - absolutely first class.

PROSclean looking product.very easy to use.comes with battery (pull tag and flip battery to use)screen / font size is large and easy to readCONSif you have oily fingers/or feet.. it is possible for prints to be visible after use/handling..would have been nice to have a weight setting for STONES (it only has KG / POUNDS).

These scales are hopeless if you actually want to know your real weight. My husband has been using them for a year now and complaining they can differ by as much as 1 kilo in 24 hours - using the same spot on the bathroom floor every time. I started using them about 4 months ago, same thing for me. I thought it might be batteries, but having just changed them it is still doing the same. As the whole point of scales is accuracy we will have to replace them. Shame I didn\'t act sooner and ask for a replacement!
