  1. Excellent
Very good reception and picture. Feature filled - may not use all of them. Being used on a narrow boat very successfully and about the largest you would want on one. Unlike at least one recommended by Which? magazine this can be used on mains AND 12 volt systems. Very good value for the money. Good enough to use as a bedroom TV.
  2. Great little tv
This was bought for our touring caravan at almost half the price the caravan dealership was trying to sell one for (different make but an unknown brand to me) it has all the functions I need, was easy to program and is a good picture, sound\'s a bit tinny but hey I\'m in a caravan, I\'ll live with it!
  3. excellent HD screen
Very impressed at the price: excellent HD screen, simple controls and with the included 12v cigarette lighter power point I run it directly off the leisure battery in our motorhome. Shame there aren’t Phono jack outlets (so I could flip the left and right channels when running it through the car stereo), otherwise plenty of options with HDMI, Scart & VGA inputs.
  4. Would be great if only there was a viewable picture!
I sent the first one back because I thought it must be faulty, but the second is just about exactly the same. The image shows my desktop image, and as you can see it is too dark to be useable. I tried to get hold of Cello to discuss but so far without success... What a shame, I would love to be buying British but this is a disaster of a TV.
  5. Pleased with it!
Bought this to mount in a cupboard in my caravan. Pleased with it overall, good viewing angle from the side but not so good from below unless tilted directly facing you. Very lower power consumption.
  6. Great picture quality
Brilliant, Great value. I use connected only to sat dish or for DVD. Fab picture. I will also use in my Motorhome on Freeview. The downside is the sound quality but I expected this (I read the reviews), this is only 22 inches and there is a DVD drive on the back, there is nowhere to put sophisticated speakers. I had already bought external speakers to use on installation. I highly recommend.
  7. We were not disappointed at all when we received our 22 inch Cello ...
Did a lot of research before purchasing. Our Avtec had given up the ghost. A new TV had to be purchased. Cello met all the demands on paper. We were not disappointed at all when we received our 22 inch Cello Traveller TV required for our Motorhome. Followed the easy and clear set up instructions and we are really pleased with the vibrant picture across all received channels. Sound is also good. DVD was a doddle to operate. Tried the USB but we had downloaded the wrong format, back to the drawing board on that one. Will be testing the service centre helpfulness on this topic. All in all a fantastic TV for the price with great service from our supplier. Thank you.
  8. Why pay more?
Bought to replace an Avtex TV/Sat/DVD combi that had a barely-used, yet suddenly faulty DVD player, I\'m more than impressed. It does everything the Avtex could, but more importantly (to me at least), it plays film files from hard drives that the Avtex couldn\'t. At around a third of the price of a direct replacement for what I had, I suppose my expectations were less, but I\'ve been more than pleased to find that the expected shortfalls aren\'t a problem at all to me, eg. 1) the sound doesn\'t appear as tinny as some comments here have suggested (changing from default settings using the remote control handset helps and is easily done), 2) the viewing angle is perfectly acceptable for us in our caravan, 3) the picture quality is very good, and 4) the build quality appears good enough for such a lightweight, inexpensive set - certainly the lower price means that even if it lasts only half as long as my Avtex has lasted and I have to buy another, then I\'ll still have money left over to buy another Aquaroll or two as well. O and lastly - importantly in my view - it has a non-reflective screen, so no more having to close blinds and draw curtains when watching in the caravan during daylight hours. So then, in summary, this set does everything my old set could do (and a bit more - playing more film file formats is a big plus) at a price that should make its higher-priced competitors blush. This beggars the question - why pay more? Especially when you consider you\'re buying a TV that is unlikely to be used anywhere near as much as the fantastic one you have in your living room...UPDATE 20/8/19 - another good surprise from Cello: After almost a year of my Cello TV being used regularly and faultlessly, the supplied remote control developed a problem that couldn\'t be fixed, so I contacted Amazon, they gave me contact details for Cello\'s service department and I gave them a call. The call could only have lasted about five minutes and the friendly service representative offered to send me a replacement remote control without any fuss. I\'d must add here that this isn\'t a comment on Cello\'s product quality as I\'ve no complaints there (I still believe it\'s a fantastic TV for the price, these things happen to far more expensive TVs remember), instead it\'s meant as praise for their excellent customer service - hopefully this should give peace of mind for any potential buyers - other companies might like to take note...
